Wherever there is human being, there is music. Music is ubiquitous,and closely related to life. Music is one of the best ways to cultivate people's sentiments. In order to further expand the influence of IKCEST Silk Road Training Base and improve art taste of foreign students, “Stroll in the Classic” concert was successfully hosted by the IKCEST Silk Road Training Base under the sponsorship of the Communist Youth League Committee of Xi'an Jiaotong University and Student Art Troupe in the evening of November 14, 2018, Room 1400. Chen Ling, Vice Dean of School of Continuing Education and over 70 foreign students attended the concert.

The concert started with “Sonata in E major for clarinet” and was brought to the climax with “Prelude and Allegro”. The prelude was classic with tragic and powerful andante, which made the audience totally relaxed. The lively allegro was romantic and made people feel lost in the scene. While the noble “One Step Away” was sharp but not harsh, skillful but memorable, just like a woman on the Tango steps, arrogant but noble. Though the music was finished, the melody still lingered.

The audience was totally immersed in every piece of music and gave constant applause after each performance. Among them, two foreign students from Pakistan and Russia expressed their heartfelt praise for the concert: "This is great. This is the best concert I have ever attended in China" “This classic concert makes my whole body relaxed”. Some students expressed that the concert was pleasant and hoped that the IKCEST Silk Road Training Base could hold more literary and artistic programs to enrich their after-school life.
