On the morning of March 11, the task scheduling meeting of Silk Road Sub-Center of Science & Technology of International Knowledge Center was successfully held in the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Song Dexiong, Director of Project Management Office of International Knowledge Center, Zhang Pingchuan, Vice Dean of Continuing Education College of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Qian Buyue, Professor from the School of Electronic Information Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University, six specially invited experts attended the meeting. Liu Chang, deputy director of the International Knowledge Center Project Management Office, hosted the meeting.

At the meeting, Professor Qian Buyue from the School of Electronic Information Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University summarized on the work of IKCEST Silk Road Platform in 2018 mapped out plans for 2019. Then Chen Shuxuan, project manager of IKCEST Silk Road Training Base, Xi'an Jiaotong University, elaborated on the achievements, difficulties possible solutions of IKCEST Silk Road Training Base in 2018, reported on a series of work plans for 2019. Liu Jun, assistant director of Network Information Center of Xi’an Jiaotong University, briefly reported on the preparation progress of the XJTU-Baidu Big Data Competition.

At the end of the meeting, Director Song Dexiong summarized the work of IKCEST Silk Road Sub-Center of Science & Technology IKCEST Silk Road Training Base in 2018, put forward a series of constructive suggestions earnest expectations. Director Song asserted that under the leadership of President Wang Shuguo vice president Zheng Qinghua of Xi'an Jiaotong University, the construction of One-Belt-One-Road-related platform can be carried out smoothly; the construction of Silk Road Sub-center of Science Technology Silk Road Training Base can be carried out in order. Besides, all involved must try their best to carry forward the construction of sub-platforms Silk Road Training Bases to live up to the expectations of the two presidents. Meanwhile, director Song also put forward some constructive suggestions for future work. He suggested that the IKCEST Silk Road Sub-platform should hold long-term view, create a reputable brwith outstanding characteristics based on the actual needs of the Belt-road countries, in carrying forward offline training of IKCEST Silk Road Training Base more strictly to provide high-end talents for the economic social development of Belt-road countries.

At this meeting, the IKCEST Silk Road Science Technology Sub-Center the IKCEST Silk Road Training Base have conducted in-depth research discussion on the construction of IKCEST Silk Road Sub-Center of Science Technology IKCEST Silk Road Training Base through face-to-face communications with project managers staff. In 2018, IKCEST Silk Road Sub-center of Science Technology IKCEST Silk Road Training Base have achieved great breakthroughs in their work. In 2019, IKCEST Silk Road Sub-center of Science Technology IKCEST Silk Road Training Base shall join hands work even harder to improve its brinfluence, standardize the management of off-line training, build a first rate international engineer training center.
