Director General of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan Dr. Safdar Ali Shah visited Silk Road Training Base on 1st, April, 2019.
Dr. Safdar Ali Shah attained Master’s degree in English Literature joined the Army. He graduated from the Pakistan Military Academy with a Sword of Honor was commissioned into the Education Corps of the Pakistan Army, where he served for 32 years. He was held important educational administrative positions such as Principal Burn Hall College, Director of Studies at Pakistan Military Academy, Chairman Armed Forces Board for Higher Education Director Army Education. He was on the advisory board of the Pakistan Army Journal the Defence Review.
First, Dr. Safdar visited office of Silk Road Training Base. Chen Ling, Vice Dean of School of Continuing Education introduced development of the Training Base the cooperation with other universities.
After visiting office of Silk Road Training Base, Dr. Safdar went to 1400 room had a warmly communication with Pakistani students who study in Xi’an Jiaotong University. They talked about new policies of education, study life, the importance of cooperation between universities, etc.
Arshad Farooq, a Pakistani student, said, “I will never forget his advice that without ability, talent capability, skills expertise in you're work, you can never move ahead. So, therefore pay attention, work-hard fully concentration on you're task that what is given to you. Always keep thinking of new ideas to do what is new, always keep track of knowledge.
