As the seasons change, the spring tide gradually surges. With the 2026 Spring Festival approaching, on January 28, the leadership of the Network and Information Center of Xi'an Jiaotong University, along with representatives of Party branch members and trade union members, visited and extended their regards to retired faculty and staff of the center. They presented carefully prepared New Year greeting cards and warm supplies to the elderly colleagues, conveying the most sincere festival blessings and heartfelt greetings.

During the visit, everyone engaged in heartfelt conversations with the elderly comrades, carefully inquiring about their health, daily lives, and practical needs, while attentively listening to their thoughts and concerns.  At the same time, a comprehensive report was provided to the elderly comrades on the achievements of the Network and Information Center over the past year, with a particular focus on the center's "Artificial Intelligence Empowerment Year" initiative. It was mentioned that in the new year, the center will rely on "Jiaoxiaozhi" as a key platform to continue deepening the optimization and expansion of intelligent technology applications across all scenarios, including teaching, research, management, and services, striving to strengthen the network and information support for the high-quality development of the university.

The senior comrades expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the care and support of the center, stating that although they have left their posts, they remain deeply committed to the development of the network and information industry. They expressed immense joy and pride in the progress the center has made in the field of artificial intelligence. Everyone fondly recalled the years of hard work, shared their insights from their careers, and proactively offered suggestions for the center's future development. They also pledged to continue contributing their remaining energy, steadfastly supporting the construction of the network and information industry, and helping the center's various tasks reach new heights.

Suo Zhihai, director of the Network and Information Center, stated that the thriving development of the university's network information industry is inseparable from the selfless contributions of the senior comrades. The dedication and pragmatic work style of the older generation are valuable spiritual assets of the center, worthy of being inherited and practiced by all current staff. The center will always keep the urgent needs and concerns of the senior comrades in mind and translate them into concrete actions.
