On the afternoon of November 27, the Network and Information Center of Xi'an Jiaotong University and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University jointly held a business exchange and discussion. Both sides engaged in discussions on topics such as the empowerment of artificial intelligence, the "15th Five-Year Plan" for informatization, and informatization project construction. The aim was to support the Second Affiliated Hospital in leveraging an AI-empowered smart hospital through collaborative innovation between the university and the hospital. Suo Zhihai, Director of the Network and Information Center, Guo Hui, Deputy Director of the Second Affiliated Hospital, as well as representatives from the university's Network and Information Center, the Information Network Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital, and related technical personnel, attended the exchange and discussion.

Suo Zhihai benchmarked against the informatization construction of universities, combined with the school's practical cases of artificial intelligence empowerment, and shared in-depth thoughts on AI empowering intelligent development. He highlighted the AI innovation application "Jiaoxiaozhi" platform, the university-level intelligent assistant "LUMINA1.0 | Jiaoxiaozhu," and the construction of the one-stop online service system. He stated that the school's technological accumulation and service models in the field of artificial intelligence could be deeply integrated with the medical service needs of the Second Affiliated Hospital, helping to allocate medical resources more efficiently.

Guo Hui highly praised the achievements of the university's smart campus construction. She pointed out that the convenient service model of "one-stop online services" and the smart service and management experiences, such as the AI Innovation Competition, are highly instructive and provide valuable insights for the smart construction of management services at the Second Affiliated Hospital. She looks forward to strengthening regular business guidance and exchanges between the two sides to comprehensively enhance the hospital's information service capabilities.

Technical personnel from both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on specific business areas such as AI applications, data governance, licensed software, and project management. Everyone unanimously agreed that there should be mutual learning and enhanced collaboration to transform AI technology into practical applications that serve teachers and students.

It is reported that starting from 2024, the Network and Information Center and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University have established a regular communication mechanism. In the next step, the two parties will focus on hosting AI intelligent innovation competitions and using AI to assist the Second Affiliated Hospital in smart healthcare as a breakthrough point. They will carry out a series of collaborations around the deep integration of medical services and information technology, jointly contributing to the construction of smart campuses and smart hospitals.
