Recently, the 9th Smart Campus University CIO Xi'an Forum, jointly organized by the Smart Campus University CIO Organizing Committee, the eMOOC Alliance, and the Northwest Higher Education Digital Transformation Alliance, was held in the ancient city of Xi'an. This forum, themed "AI Empowers Digital Education Innovation and Reconstruction," brought together numerous university information technology leaders, industry experts, and representatives from educational technology enterprises across the country to discuss innovative practices and development blueprints for digital transformation in education during the era of artificial intelligence. Relevant personnel from the Network Information Center of Xi'an Jiaotong University participated in the event.

After a process of discussion, evaluation, and voting by a review committee composed of professionals from various fields, including industry education associations, the Smart University Expert Committee, and media organizations, Xi'an Jiaotong University was honored with the "Smart University AI Innovation Excellence Award" and the "Smart Campus - Model University" title at the 9th Smart Campus University CIO Xi'an Forum, in recognition of its outstanding innovation and practical achievements in the field of educational digitization.

Comrades Luo Junfeng, Wang Qi, Cai Xiaojuan, and Qin Zunying from the Network Information Center were respectively awarded the titles of "Pioneer in Digital Transformation of Smart Universities," "Outstanding Figure in Smart University Informatization," "Prominent Figure in Smart University Informatization," and "Excellent Figure in Digital Transformation of Smart Education Administration."

The Network Information Center, taking the "Year of Information Quality Improvement" as a key initiative, has deepened efforts to inventory and clarify core business data to establish a clear "family foundation." It actively explores the application of technologies such as large models and artificial intelligence in education, teaching, scientific research, management, and services. By locally deploying the "Jiaoxiaozhi" AI application innovation platform, the center has built an intelligent application ecosystem covering all scenarios, including teaching, research, and management services, injecting strong momentum into the digital transformation of education. The year 2025 marks the university’s "Year of AI Empowerment." The Network Information Center will rely on "Jiaoxiaozhi" to continuously optimize and expand intelligent teaching, research collaboration, data governance, and other full-scenario applications. At the same time, it will further strengthen the collaborative innovation of data governance, the "one-stop online services" initiative, and AI technology, striving to build a smarter, more efficient, and more open new ecosystem for smart education. This will provide solid digital support for the university’s high-quality development and the modernization of education.
