On the afternoon of September 11, the Party Branch of the Network Information Center convened a branch work meeting and a special study session for September. The session focused on studying General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important directives on implementing the spirit of the Central Committee’s eight-point decision, discussing and voting on the conversion of Comrade Yang Yingda from a development candidate to a probationary member of the Communist Party of China, and planning the key tasks for the next stage in line with the center’s operational realities. The meeting was chaired by Suo Zhihai, Secretary of the Party Branch of the center, with all Party members in attendance.

Suo Zhihai led all Party members in a collective study of Xi Jinping's important instructions on implementing the spirit of the Central Committee's eight-point decision. He pointed out that the spirit of the Central Committee's eight-point decision is an important measure to improve work style and maintain close ties with the masses. As the main department responsible for the school's information technology construction, the Network Information Center undertakes key tasks such as data governance, system operation and maintenance, and cybersecurity. All Party members must rectify the "four malpractices" with the "spirit of driving nails," temper a pragmatic work style while serving faculty and students and pressing ahead with key projects, embed work style improvement throughout key initiatives including smart campus development and cybersecurity protection, and earnestly enhance the digital services experience of faculty and students .

In light of the key tasks for the new semester in the field of internet and information technology, Suo Zhihai emphasized that all Party members should actively embrace the transformation of artificial intelligence technology, boldly explore innovative pathways for digital transformation, and continuously enhance the level of informatization services. First, it is essential to raise ideological awareness, deeply understand the essence and substance of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, and use it as an important guide to strengthen Party spirit cultivation and improve work style, thereby fortifying the defense line of integrity and self-discipline. Second, efforts should be made to strengthen practical application by taking initiative in tasks such as the construction of one-stop online services, the upgrading of intelligent computing platforms, the development of smart classrooms, and cybersecurity protection, using improved work style to drive higher quality in business operations. Third, Party members should play a vanguard and exemplary role, taking the lead in implementing the Central Eight-Point Regulation and promoting high-quality development in all aspects of the center's work through concrete actions, thereby further deepening and solidifying the improvement of work style.

The participants said that the important speech made by General Secretary Xi Jinping has pointed the direction and provided fundamental guidance for promoting the regular and long-term improvement of work conduct. The Party members will take this study as an opportunity to further raise their political stance, strengthen the “Four Consciousnesses”, bolster the “Four-Sphere Confidence”, and uphold the “Two Upholds”, so as to truly unify their thoughts and actions with the spirit of the important speech made by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and devote themselves to the work of cyberspace affairs with greater enthusiasm and a more solid work style.

After the meeting, the Party branch of the Network Information Center held a committee meeting to deploy the branch's work for the second half of the year and discuss matters related to Party member development.
