On the afternoon of September 18, Xi'an Jiaotong University held a special meeting on educational statistics for 2025. Staff from 34 units, including members of the university's education statistics leadership group and other relevant statistical units, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Liu Jun, Deputy Director of the Network Information Center.

The meeting conveyed the spirit of the document "Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Statistical Work of Education in 2025," requiring all units to enhance their understanding, align with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and the provincial authorities, firmly establish the concept of statistical and governance compliance with the law, strengthen "bottom-line thinking" and "red-line awareness," work together to create a favorable statistical ecosystem, ensure the high-quality completion of data statistical work, and provide solid and reliable data support for the school's scientific decision-making.

Meanwhile, attendees participated in the video conference on educational statistics work in Shaanxi Province. The conference reported on the quality verification of educational statistics data for the province in 2024 and outlined the statistical work for 2025. It was reported that in 2025, Shaanxi Province will for the first time conduct data quality verification online, covering 111 units. Among them, 32 universities, including Xi'an Jiaotong University and Northwest University, received province-wide commendation for their high data quality and detailed verification reports.

To ensure the high-quality completion of this year's statistical work, after the video conference, the statistical staff of the Network Information Center provided a detailed explanation of the main tasks, division of labor, schedule, and precautions for the school's 2025 education statistics work. They also systematically explained the laws and regulations related to education statistics, the 2025 education statistics system, and practical considerations for statistical operations. This further ensures the accuracy and standardization of the school's statistical data reporting, fully guaranteeing the successful completion of the 2025 education statistics reporting work.
