The Chongyang Festival comes every year, and now it's Chongyang again. This year's Chongyang Festival falls on a Wednesday, coinciding with the regular entry of Information services from the Network and Information Center into communities. On the morning of October 28, the Party branch and the Trade union of the Network and Information Center jointly entered the staff residential area and carried out a special service activity with the theme of "Bringing Information Services to the Community, Respecting and Caring for the Elderly to Build a Harmonious Society Together". With professional and efficient technical support and meticulous humanistic care, they extended meaningful festival greetings to retired staff members.

This event adopts a three-dimensional service model of "on-site Q&A + in-home assistance + knowledge dissemination" to effectively implement information services. For the high-frequency concerns of senior faculty, such as network fee payment in residential areas, continued use of unified authentication accounts after retirement, campus card usage, email usage, and salary inquiries, staff patiently provided on-site answers one by one. For practical issues like in-home network wiring in residential areas, router failures, and physical network connection problems, on-site troubleshooting and repair services were offered, achieving "face-to-face reporting and one-stop handling" of network issues. The event also included cybersecurity knowledge dissemination and introductions to new services from the Network and Information Center, with a focus on explaining the download and use of the new "Mobile Jiaotong University" app, the "Jiaoxiaozhi" intelligent platform, and the "Jiaoxiaozhu" voice interaction feature. These efforts helped senior faculty members understand, experience, and utilize more smart campus services.

Since 2017, the Network and Information Center has consistently visited the residential areas every Wednesday, regularly carrying out community-based information service activities. To date, over 300 such activities have been conducted, serving more than 9,000 retired faculty and staff members, providing over 10,000 information consultations, and offering on-site door-to-door services more than 800 times. The Network and Information Center has always prioritized the needs of retired faculty and staff, continuously optimizing services tailored for the elderly. In the future, the center will continue to provide more precise technical support and warmer service measures, helping retired faculty and staff bridge the "digital divide" and enjoy a convenient life in the intelligent era.
